DisplayPort KVM Extender, EVBPU-M2010, consists of a Transmitter (Host/ Device) and a Receiver (Host/ Device) unit that allows you to extend DP/ Audio/ SPDIF/ USB 2.0/ IR signals over CATx Cabling. It transmits uncompressed 4K DisplayPort video up to 70 meters and 1080p up to 100 meters through a single CAT6 cable.
EVBPU-M2010, DisplayPort KVM Extender, supports USB 2.0 extension function. 4 USB 2.0 ports on the front and the rear side of the receiver unit (Rx) are suitable for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals connection, and the USB OTG function allows Tx/Rx (Host Switch) to switch back and forth between the roles of host and device. The unit extends 4 x USB 2.0 signals up to 100M over a single CAT.x cable. USB 2.0 extension is compatible with Windows, Linux, and MAC OS. There is no need to install software or driver, just plug and play, and is downward compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 1.0 devices, which ensures reliable data communication.
The bi-directional IR extension function supports full frequency IR signal range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR cable can be purchased separately).
To provide an optical digital audio transmission solution, Rextron 4K DisplayPort KVM Extender is equipped with novel Toslink optical fiber connector used for sending a digital audio stream from the input of the Transmitter unit to the output of the Receiver unit. Toslink digital optical audio extension prevents the audio stream delivery from electric and magnetic interference and such optic connector supports most of the commonly seen studio audio equipments such as video game console, Blu-ray disk player, and AV receiver.
