EXPS-M043 = EXPS-043P (Tx, USB Host) + EXPS-043S (Rx, USB Device)
DisplayPort
over CAT6, EXPS-M043, consists of a Transmitter (USB Host) and a
Receiver (USB Device) unit that allows you to extend DP/ Audio/ USB 2.0/
IR/ RS-232 signals. It transmits 4K DP video up to 150 meters (490 ft)
over CAT6 Cabling.
EXPS-M043, DisplayPort over CAT6, supports USB 2.0 extension
function. 4 USB 2.0 ports on the front and the rear side of the receiver
unit (Rx) are suitable for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals
connection. EXPS-M043 supports most of the popular Windows, Mac, Chrome
O.S, and Linux operating system.
The IR extension function
supports full frequency IR signal range from 38KHz up to 56KHz.
Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on
the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR
control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR cable can be purchased
separately).
Full-duplex data communication between Tx and Rx via
CAT6 Cable connection is the cost effective, hardware-based solution,
providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices
without any setup or configuration. RS-232 serial extension is suitable
to be applied in digital signage, industrial or commercial office, smart
classroom, and smart Home system.
2-Way Audio with Unique Audio Embedding/ De-Embedding Function
Bi-directional audio extension function is activated and can independently transmit 2-way audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa. Audio embedder/ extractor function can independently transmit the audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, embed audio from a 3.5-mm source to a DP signal or extract DP audio to a 3.5mm stereo audio, which provides the second audio transmission channel that would be beneficial for the content creator in video postproduction or audio broadcasting with the installation of home cinema amplifier.
