Dual Display VGA KVM Extender over CAT5, EXXAS-2021C, consists of a Console and a Computer unit that allows you to extend Dual-VGA and USB signals up to 200 meters (656 foot) over CATx Cabling. Dual Monitor function requires HDB15 graphics cards to extend your desktop and expand the work area across displays, which help enhance productivity.
Unique bidirectional audio extension function independently transmits 2-way audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa. Bidirectional audio transmission is beneficial for content creator in video postproduction or in the case of emergency situation for notifying users of the computer or server room operation issues making possible the remote communication and coordination.
IR extension feature supports full frequency IR signal from 38KHz to 56KHz. Furthermore, the pigtail design of the external IR extension unit with 1.4m cable (purchased separately) increasing the distance between the emitter and receiver heads and the IR port on the extender unit gives users flexible and easier way in IR control system installation. That provides a unique strength which is often used in combination with home theater and system integration application.
Full-duplex data communication between Tx and Rx via CAT.x cable connection is the cost effective, hardware-based solution, providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices without any setup or configuration. Video Adjustment
To compensate the lengths of CAT.x cable, there 16 levels on coarse tune and up to 128/256 scales on fine tune are available for adjustment on the equalizer and gain. And, there are 8 levels on coarse tune and 16/32 scales on fine tune are available for skew adjustment on blue, green and red.

Dual Console function allows two users (Local and Remote sides) to share one computer. The local console EXXAS-021P enables users to access computer directly, while the remote console EXXAS-201S allows users to remotely control the computer as if you were sitting right in front of it. Hotkey functions and push buttons enable the user at Console/ PC Unit to exclusively access the computer.

Dual Display VGA KVM Extender over CAT5, EXXAS-2021C Mask Hotkey Switch located at the rear panel of both Console Unit and Computer Unit can be slid OFF/ON to switch hotkey control between the Computer (Default setting) and KVM Switch (Cascading) accordingly.
The hotkey commands of KVM Switches vary among models, which may cause hotkey errors, unwanted configurations between the Extender Unit and the mixed types of KVM Switches that connect to each other. To prevent from any conflict via hotkey commands in the cascade configuration, Hotkey Mask feature eliminates or simplifies all the hotkey control barriers caused by mixed combinations of KVM Extender and KVM Switch in cascading architecture; through the mask ON, users can bypass the Extender Unit and directly apply the KVM Switch’s built-in hotkey commands to access and configure the KVM Switch. You can easily expand the computers control by adding the Extender with KVM Switch.
